Privacy, in plain language.

When you create a free academy account, AI GURU stores your name, contact email, sign-in email, date of birth, self-selected archetypes, account identifier, registration date and profile consent timestamp to manage professor access and maintain your academy profile. These details are visible to the site owner in a private registration register and can be exported as a spreadsheet. They are not displayed to other members. You can edit your profile from your member space. Registration is not consent to marketing emails.

For Inner Circle applications, we store your name, email, date of birth, chosen archetypes, phone number, whether you have WhatsApp and Discord, contact consent and application date. These records are visible only to the site owner in a private register with spreadsheet export. The academy owner may use the submitted email and, if selected by the applicant, WhatsApp number for application and selection follow-up. The Discord checkbox records whether you use it; no Discord account is connected. The Inner Circle is the academy’s shared story game. We store applications and their review status. Applications are free and subject to selection. To connect an application to a game account, the applicant must sign in with ChatGPT and use the matching account email; approval is manual and does not guarantee admission.

Checkout is handled by Stripe. We store payment references and access status to manage membership; Stripe handles card details. Existing purchases have not yet been transferred to this website.

Professor conversations open in ChatGPT and are governed by that service’s terms and privacy settings. This website does not receive your conversations.

For on-site courses, we store your written exercise responses, completion timestamps, assessment scores and certificate record. Your certificate uses your profile name at the time it is issued. Your writing and certificates are accessible through your own signed-in account; they are not published in The Mystical Academy catalogue.

Your academy character and discovery rewards are saved with your account. We store which professor plugins you opened, video playback progress, completed video rewards and reward timestamps to calculate your points. Each discovery reward is issued once per account. If you are approved for the Inner Circle game, other active players at your Wisdom level and in the same scene can see your chosen game handle, character, fictional House and in-world map location. Your account name and email are not shown. You can leave the map at any time; presence expires after 90 seconds offline. We store your map preference, current scene/location, recent global group chat messages (the room shows the last 7 days; expired records are cleaned as chat activity resumes), and temporary challenge/response records to operate the game. The shared chat is available to approved game applicants and does not support private messages. Friendly spar challenges require a response and cannot remove points or items. We do not receive or read your professor conversations.

To understand public-site traffic, we count page views in aggregate by day and public page path. We do not store visitor IP addresses, account identities or URL query strings for this report. The owner can view the totals and download them as a spreadsheet. This traffic count does not identify unique visitors.

The video library embeds videos hosted by YouTube. Thumbnail images load from YouTube’s image servers. Selecting a video connects to YouTube’s embedded player, which is governed by Google’s privacy policy. Videos are not stored on this website. Video bookmarks are stored in your browser.

When you use the contact form, we save your name, email, topic and message privately so the site owner can respond. FormSubmit processes the same information to relay it to the owner’s inbox and states that it retains submissions for up to 30 days. We also use short-lived rate-limit counters based on a protected hash of the request IP address to reduce spam. The contact form does not add you to a marketing list. Please do not include passwords or payment details.
